To augment press releases, support guerrilla activities and to provide statistics that create news stories, The Ministry Of Fun has created WEBPOLL - its very own internet polling service - to carry out surveys all over the UK.

The rationale of WEBPOLL is to make the Media smile and so surveys are usually pitched at the light-hearted end of the news agenda.

Short questionnaires, approved by clients and usually comprising about 10 x multiple choice questions, are emailed to a bespoke line-up of 1,000 x people from all over the UK. These MOF contacts cover a vast range of ages and demographics.

WEBPOLL surveys are usually carried out regionally to provide local statistics and comparisons, which we recognise is very important when contacting regional Media (ie radio producers like nothing more than to compare their region favourably to another).

WEBPOLL can split the British Isles into counties or other regions, with a percentage of survey questionnaires being emailed to each region. This can of course be changed as required, if your story relates to specific parts of the UK.

And finally, if appropriate, we will produce a day of ISDN interviews, based on the findings of WEBPOLL surveys in the MOF Studio. Studio details can be found at  www.mofstudios.net
