The Ministry Of Fun began in 1997, inspired by our combined backgrounds in PR and Entertainment. We have since gone on to become one of the UK’s most versatile producers of entertainment, events, PR stunts, promotional campaigns and guerrilla marketing activities. We love bringing brands to life and even have a dedicated brand development team busily devising characters and their “rulebooks” for licensors.

From the outset James Lovell, the company’s founder, has lived by the simple rule that fun is a force that works for everyone. This basic ethos runs through everything that we do and is upheld by the Ministers that we use, whether they be performers or technical staff, set builders or costumiers.

We only deploy brilliant people to create and produce memorable moments that have genuine impact. Their energy, positivity and love of what they do is evident whether they are engaging with the public on a high street, entertaining an audience in a theatre or indeed building something very large and placing it somewhere very public.

This attitude and spirit of fun is also found behind the scenes in the production office, where an expanding workforce comprises a tightly-knit team of Ministers, many of whom learned the ropes out on the front line.

Over the years, we have worked with a huge and varied selection of wonderful brands, broken nine world records, been the subject of a Channel 4 documentary series, and become the UK’s number 1 provider of Father Christmases.

We are based in Elephant and Castle; and from here Ministry of Fun Studios supports all of our activities, providing AV production & edit facilities as well as an onsite rehearsal space.

We take fun extremely seriously.
