Next up, it’s our brilliant Account Manager Trinity Mitchell, whose day is anything but typical…
What’s your role at Ministry Of Fun and what does a typical day look like?
Booking performers (yes, even balloon-modelling drag queens), writing briefs, building mood board-filled decks, ordering costumes/props, and diving into anything creative.
All while surrounded by singing colleagues, shelf-building chaos and more elf accessories than you can imagine.
What’s the most unexpected skill you’ve used on the job?
Design & illustration – from painting props to creating fake book covers.
What project or stunt have you loved working on the most and why?
The Willy Wonka Christmas party: giant sweets, a Wonka Bar tree, golden tickets, and a purple top hat star.
How did you first get into the world of events/entertainment?
Hand-painted handbags for Burberry in-store events → luxury weddings & parties → costume, set & prop design.
What’s something people don’t realise goes on behind the scenes in live events?
We’re ducks – calm on the surface, paddling like mad underneath.
What’s your go-to song to get hyped before a big event?
Twist and Shout – The Beatles.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
- Artistic.
- Approachable.
- Witty.
(Plus a few more, depending who you ask…)
