MOF & Prism55
Santa HQ
The Santa HQ app was our response to the overall impact of the Global Pandemic, and its effect on the happiness of children everywhere.
Working alongside Prism55 we developed a wonderfully immersive world, capturing imaginations and taking children on a month-long journey.
Our teams devised 24 interactive videos, complete with daily activities & jokes for children. These were released daily throughout December, culminating with messages from Santa himself on Christmas Day. We also included a catch-up option will all content freely available once live.
Through the app, families were able to book a virtual grotto session at a time of their choosing. This one-on-one stress-free video call allowed for a much more personal & in-depth interaction than a standard set-up.
After transforming our rehearsal studio into a full-scale production suite, we set about creating and filming the content. A series of festive sets, hilarious scripts, and our elves tying the whole thing together.
The Santa HQ app gained Global media coverage (incl. BBC, ITV, Channel 5 News, CNBC, and The One Show), driving thousands of downloads of our app. Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, saw our content and wanted to be involved, lending his substantially influential support to help us scale globally.
We utilised our annual MOF Santa School as a socially distanced opportunity to give our Santas a little bit of technical knowledge before sending them off with their very own Home Grotto in a box.
