Back in 1999, one of our first ever jobs was to provide Butlins with all of their street entertainment.
The brief has now been refined to include a huge range of original comedy characters and interactive stage shows, along with the more traditional circus-style street performances.
The overriding aim is to create a varied repertoire of entertainment and fun all year round for the many thousands of people visiting Butlins holiday attractions.
Between February and November we produce a daily programme of street theatre running simultaneously in Skegness, Minehead and Bognor Regis.
This programme includes a range of mingling characters, street performances and our bespoke stage shows.
We also train Butlins’ own in-house performers, teaching them circus skills and involving them in our work.
Scripts and costumes for over 100 comedy characters have been created since 1999.
Thousands of shows and comedy routines were performed at a range of locations across each site.
We have also created our very own #EmergencyEntertainment brand, exclusive to Butlins, which has become a social media sensation amongst guests at each resort.
Our teams continue to surprise and delight guests to this day.
